bullseye tutoring: aim high, achieve more
Tutor Commitment
We are looking for tutors who are not only high-achieving students, but also students who are willing to commit at least 1 hour every week for at least 6 weeks out of the semester. This is not a one time event, but an ongoing commitment to helping a younger student over the course of the semester or even longer. We accept applications every semester allowing you to reevaluate if you'd like to continue tutoring and we even have the option for more hours weekly (1-4 hours is most typical) or summer tutoring. Our club is virtual so does not require in person meetings; although there will be an option to meet on occasion to celebrate our successes!
Tutor Support
- Our tutors all go through a training program to prepare them to tutor. This training is done virtually and we have flexible options to make sure there's a time for you to train. This will need to be done within 2 weeks of your acceptance to the club.
- Leadership Board- We have a 9 person Student Leadership Board, an Advisor, and Buddy Mentors ready to help you get up and running and to answer all of your questions as you go.
- Content Library- This online database has helpful resources for your tutoring sessions.
