All students can learn and succeed but not on the same day in the same way.
-William G. Spady

Bullseye Tutoring started with a simple idea: to help children in the community be more confident in their learning. We aim to engage students to make learning fun. We pair high achieving Innovation High School students with elementary and middle school students in need of extra academic support in the Lake Nona Community. Our tutors meet virtually each week with their students to work on homework and class material. They aim to sharpen their skills or revisit concepts the student may be struggling with. Best of all, our program is absolutely FREE of charge!

Our online platform allows for flexibility and convenience. Our tutors meet with students weekly via Zoom or Webex for a semester at a time, typically 6-8 weeks of online learning. Tutors are able to use work that you (parent or teacher) provide or materials we provide, upon request.

Our high school tutors are high achieving students who excel in the classroom and on campus. They are trained and ready to help your student achieve their academic goals and reach their full potential. They aim to be both a positive role model and your child's academic cheerleader, always encouraging and supporting academic growth. Our tutors are working hard to earn community service hours and gain leadership experience.
βTutor C has been wonderful! She is helping my daughter learn and engage with a topic she doesnβt like. My daughter had a great time during her sessions and now enjoys learning. Thanks Bullseye Tutoring!β -TM
βTutor A is amazing and very professional. She helped my daughter so much, made her feel comfortable to learn and understand the work. She was always on time and was very attentive to every work detail my daughter expressed about. So sad to end the semester. I would love to continue with her again! Thank you Tutor A for all your contributions you put in... Thank you!β -VT
βHaving a tutor to help my fifth grader with his math assignments and seeing good results is the best thing that could happen to us. I will definitely recommend this program to anyone.β

βMy student has become more confident in her math abilities. Her tutor was great! My daughter enjoyed joining the sessions each week and has become more confident in her abilities. Tutor A is patient and explains concepts so they are well understood.β

βMy son's confidence increased after working with his Bullseye Tutor. He loves math and wanted to jump 2 levels to advanced math as an incoming 6th grader. As the youngest student in class, he was nervous. Each week he looked forward to tutoring and says it has helped him fully understand the concepts. This week he earned a 5 on the FAST test for 8th grade math. Thank you, BullseyeTutoring and Tutor A!β -Jill
βI appreciate this program as a single parent who desperately needed help for her 5th grader, this helped my child get that one on one that teachers aren't able to provide!β -IH

Absolutely! You will just need to reregister each semester. Sometimes we even have tutors available over the summer. Please keep in mind, registering is not a guarantee that a student will get a tutor.
Yes, there is a spot to request a specific high school tutor on the application. We love when students find a great fit and want to continue working together. Keep in mind high school students' availability varies semester to semester. We will do our best to grant requests but cannot guarantee any specific requests.
Sadly, no. We will do our best to match every student with a tutor but this just depends on the availability and amount of tutors we have semester to semester. We are a growing club and eager to meet the needs of the community and encourage you to also explore Learn with Lions at LNHS. We will have a waitlist for any student not matched.
Several ways- after each tutoring session your child's tutor will send a quick text or email to the parent/guardian with a summary/follow up from the session. You are always welcome to observe the session as well.
Yes. Sessions are virtual so done via the computer on a weekly basis. Your student will need to be able to log on (or have your help logging on) to Zoom or Webex
